Credit and Debit Cards
Being a Bancomer Cardholder is being protected
  • We send your deactivated Credit Card in a sealed, security plastic, envelope. Make sure that it has not been tampered with
  • Upon receipt, it is very important that you immediately sign the Credit or Debit Card with a black, ball-point pen
  • Your Card and PIN are as good as cash, take care of them!
  • The account number and security code on the back of the card are only necessary for purchases at affiliated establishments
  • Always destroy your vouchers once you have verified your purchases with your account statement. Only save them for limited-time promotions. This will keep your information from falling into the hands of ill-intentioned third parties
 

For security reasons, Bancomer frequently calls you at your home or office to confirm charges made to your cards and thus ensure that the purchases were in fact made by you

It is important that your retrieve your correspondence frequently to avoid other people from obtaining it and making bad use of it
